Rihanna Concert Almost Definitely...

According to forumer RyanAtwood, the concert organizers have officially postponed the concert and will be announcing a replacement date in two weeks time. We wish Rihanna a speedy recovery, and to Chris Brown, a pleasant stay in the big house.

We're just 3 days away from Rihanna's scheduled concert, but apparently, the 20-year old singer is making plans to return to the lovely Bahamas. But before you get your panties in a twist, there's one in kink the story that you should know of (if you didn't already).

It was recently reported that Rihanna had been assaulted by her boyfriend Chris Brown.

"On a night in which Brown was supposed to deliver a prime-time Grammy performance, he was instead being processed in a Los Angeles police station on a charge connected to an alleged assault on a woman reports have identified as his girlfriend Rihanna, the 20-year-old pop princess." -- The Star Online.

And just how far did the 19-year old singer/songwriter go?

"Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, had visible bruising and scrapes on her face and what appeared to be bite marks on her body. Officers took her to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment." -- E! Online.

Though the extent of abuse may not sound like a lot in writing, we're sure that the effects are more devastating that we can imagine. Not convinced? Well she pulled out of performing for the Grammys yesterday. Certainly bad news for eager fans who are anticipating her that is scheduled to run this Friday.

Hello Kitty Xbox 360 dazzles while you frag

You may remember deviantART member Ricepuppet from his days dressing up his Xbox 360 in Domo-kun stylings. He's back, combining our love for console paint jobs with all things Hello Kitty. No matching controller this time, but there's more than enough stars, shades of pink, and cuteness to make up for it. The Sanrio charmer isn't the only new mod he's got, we also spotted consoles adorned with Halo Wars, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Chocobos (of Final Fantasy fame). Now how about we see some of that HK love plastered on a Rock Band drum set?

Immaculate prosthetic limb concept makes combines fun again

We never thought it would it come to this, but damn if that image above doesn't make the idea of having a prosthetic limb attractive. A pang first felt at the sight of Oscar Pistorius' Cheetah prosthetics is now fully engorged with visions of reckless play around farm equipment. The concept "immaculate" from Hans Alexander Huseklepp explores the idea of turning a handicap into a high-performance, cybernetic fashion statement. The neurological prosthetic is clad in technology-packed corian plates with dome-joints that offer a larger degree of freedom than that motherly-issued arm of yours. So enough with the flesh-colored plastics already, this is the biomechatronic future of the proud naturoid we'd like to see. Hell, we have to do something now that tattoos and piercings have gone mainstream.

India 'unveils' $20 laptop, the Sakshat

As expected, India's government unveiled the jointly-developed "$10 laptop" today, now priced at $20. Unfortunately dubbed Sakshat, which ironically translates as "before your eyes," the laptop is slated to ship in six months, with specs in line with what we've heard already: 2GB of storage, WiFi, Ethernet and 2 watts of power consumption. In fact, there really isn't much "unveiling" going on at all, since there's still no published image of the thing, or information about the screen size, RAM or processor. Some folks are also still skeptical as to whether a laptop can really be produced at such a low cost, since most LCDs alone would put it over budget, but we suppose we'll find out this summer. The laptop itself won't be subsidized, but the government will shoulder 25 percent of the cost of broadband for colleges, and there will be free e-learning textbooks available to students online.
